Megan Racing has unveiled a line of reinforced suspension arms that offer the strength and adjustment that any competition vehicle will ever need. Constructed of high-strength steel alloys that offer durability, strength and yet remain light-weight, these lower control arms have been track tested for months in road race, autocross and drift events to assure quality and performance.

The cooling system is a vital component of your 2008-2013 Subaru WRX’s operation. The radiator needs constant airflow, with minimum turbulence, to be as efficient as possible. Unfortunately, gaps in the structure around the radiator allow air to escape, resulting in lost efficiency. We have designed the Password:JDM Dry Carbon Kevlar Cooling Plate for the 08-13 Subaru WRX’s to eliminate this problem. By preventing air to escape over the top of the radiator, these cooling plates allow a maximum amount of airflow directly to your radiator, resulting in reduced coolant temperatures during aggressive driving.

Not only will you gain cooling effeciency with the PWJDM radiator cooling plate, you will also clean up your cluttered engine bay. Unlike the other cooling plates out there, ours is super light, often more than twice as light as a clear coated carbon versions.

ACT Press Release – Xtreme Clutch Kits Including a Prolite Flywheel for the 2013 Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S and Toyota 86!

Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) has released Xtreme clutch kits for the 2013 Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S and Toyota 86 2.0L H4.

ACT’s new clutch kits for these applications include an Xtreme pressure plate, a choice of a street or race disc, a release bearing, a pilot bearing, an alignment tool and an XACT Prolite flywheel.

The ACT Street clutch kit feature an Xtreme pressure plate with a performance organic street disc. The disc features premium organic friction materials to withstand increased heat and abuse, steel-backed linings for high-burst strength and modifications engineered for quicker shifting. The premium organic street disc is spring-centered to properly damp torsional vibrations for quieter operation. The ACT Street clutch kits meet SFI Spec 1.1 and have increased torque capacity up to 347 ft.-lbs.

The ACT Race clutch kits feature the Xtreme pressure plate paired with a cerametallic Xtreme Race disc, which is available in 6-pad spring-centered and rigid-hub, and 4-pad spring-centered and rigid-hub designs. These discs are very durable, while allowing for quick shifting. The Xtreme Race discs are for high-powered engines and recommended for track use only. The ACT Race clutch kits meet SFI Spec 1.1 and will hold 444 ft.-lbs. of torque.

The XACT Prolite flywheel is a one-piece, forged Chrome-moly steel flywheel. It is CNC-machined, features induction-hardened, integral ring gear for increased durability and can be resurfaced. The XACT Prolite flywheel weighs 10.5 lbs. and is recommended for road and rally racing.

Perrin Press Release – New Performance Air Oil Separator For WRX/STI!

The new PERRIN Performance Air Oil Separator traps oil from the crank case vents before it enters the intake, thus increasing intercooler efficiency and reduces chances of performance-robbing detonation.

Increase Intercooler Efficiency
The AOS increases intercooler efficiency by reducing the amount of oil deposited into your intercooler and intake system! As blow-by/oil builds up inside your intercooler, the less efficient it becomes due to less heat being transferred away from your engine. This leads to power loss and detonation, which can be damaging to your engine.

Reduce Carbon Buildup
Reduce carbon build up in the combustion chamber, intake valves, and in your intake tract. Crank case blow-by is recirculated back to the intake to be ingested by the engine, but in doing so, gets stuck in the intake tract, intake valves, and the intercooler. This builds up over time which causes a loss in power and extra wear and tear on your valve train.

Reduce Detonation
The octane level of oil is very low. Anytime there is a significant amount of engine blow-by (oil) being put back into your engine, it reduces your fuel’s octane level leading to detonation or knock, which will cause loss of power and engine failure.

PCV System Included
We designed the PERRIN Air Oil Separator kit based on the idea that using a PCV on the AOS outlet ensures proper crank case venting during light loads and helps reduce unwanted blow-by gases into your intake system. Incorporating a PCV reduces the smell from exhaust and keeps your intake tract clean.

Easy Disassembly For Cleaning
Over the years, a slight buildup may occur inside your AOS. This can be quickly taken care of by removing one bolt to access the inside for cleaning. This small feature is one of the many things that makes the PERRIN AOS stand out from the rest.

Heated By Coolant
The base plate of the the AOS is heated by coolant drawn from the engine. By keeping the AOS the same temperature as the engine and blow-by gases, water condensation is decreased allowing oil and water vapor to separate and pass through the can.

This vital feature eliminates nearly all the sludge that can build up in the AOS body, which drastically reduce how often you must clean it.

Powder coated for protection against the elements, the textured finish will look awesome for years to come. The PERRIN AOS is available in black or red texture powder coating.

Our Alternator Cover is precision laser cut from locally-sourced material and the drive-by-cable dimples are punched before its CNC bent for a perfect fit. Aluminum covers receive a durable DuPont powdercoat in a textured red, black or silver, while the stainless steel covers receive a protective film to prevent scratches in both manufacturing and shipping. Mounting of the cover is facilitated my machined aluminum supports. Following the machining process, these supports are black anodized for a clean look and corrosion resistance. This is particularly important in an environment like your engine bay. Clear zinc hardware finishes the look and keeps everything planted firmly.
