The name 2013 MazdaSpeed3 is a bit of a misnomer, instead of a vehicle focused only on speed, this is a well balanced car equally concerned with safety features and touring comforts. With 4-wheel ABS, front, rear and side-mounted airbags, child seat anchors and rear door child safety locks, this is clearly a family friendly ride. However, with stability and traction control, electronic brakeforce distribution, and a 2.3L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering 263 ponies and 280 lb-ft of torque, this intercooled sport compact provides a healthy dose of pure adult quality adrenaline.
Adrenaline fanatics take heed, performance gains are as simple as an AEM Dryflow air filter upgrade. Without question one of the easiest automotive maintenance procedures is replacing the air filter and now when you substitute the factory paper air filter with an AEM 28-20293 reusable air filter, your engine can breathe easier and provide better performance.
AEM achieves this by combining the most successful elements of air filter technology, into an exclusive Dryflow air filter concept that never requires oil. Easy to clean and reuse, the 28-20293 performance air filter will be the last filter you’ll ever buy because it is backed by a lifetime limited warranty. This air filter add less restriction than typical paper air filters while it provides outstanding filtration. Depending on your driving conditions, AEM 28-20293 can go up to 50,000 miles before cleaning is needed. When it’s time to clean your air filter, AEM’s synthetic air filter cleaner is available to quickly dissolve dirt and allow it to be rinsed away with water. It’s that easy.

Car alignment is absolutely crucial when modifying your car. Alignment can effect every aspect of your driving experience, from straight line stability, under steer, over steer, acceleration, braking and tire wear. Although stock components allow slight alignments from the stock suspension settings, they often are not able to properly align the car after the suspension has been modified. From the factory, most cars are set to have under-steer and for optimum tire wear at stock height; under-steer is often undesired from a performance standpoint and almost all performance driven applications are lowered.
Megan Racing Inc. has developed reinforced and adjustable control arms to accommodate the needs of the aggressive and performance oriented tuner. Being constructed of a Lightweight Steel-Alloy which is able to withstand the stresses of extreme competition, these arms are powder-coated with a 3-Stage process to ensure durability and protection against the elements.
These Rear Upper Camber-Arms are adjustable to fine tune your cars handling in the rear. When lowering a car, these will eliminate premature tire wear caused by the rear wheels riding upon the inside tread only.

Lexus drivers are people that demand quality vehicles full of features and power. First introduced to the United States in 1989, the luxury vehicle division of Toyota Motor Corporation has a well earned reputation for incorporating the highest quality materials and craftsmanship into their manufacturing process. They call this process – The Pursuit of Perfection. It is that ongoing quest for excellence that converts drivers into Lexus evangelists, blissfully spreading the word of how remarkable it is to be a Lexus owner.
Two of the most talked about Lexus models are the IS250 and IS350. Revamped in 2006, the second-generation IS250 produces 204 horsepower at 6400 rpm. While the IS350 with its 3.5-liter V6 engine and redesigned exterior, weighs in at just over 300 horsepower. Both models once more have reclaimed their position as the yardstick for measuring the entry-level luxury sedan class.
Although both sedans list impressive horsepower numbers, Lexus owners have an easy option for more power and torque. AEM, like Lexus, continues their own pursuit for precision by focusing on regaining power lost through factory intake restriction with their Electronically Tuned Intake (ETI) technology.
AEM has two air intakes for 2006-2011 Lexus IS350 models with 3.5 liter engines. Part number 41-1402C has a tube with a gunmetal gray finish and 41-1402P has a tube with a chrome-like finish. These intakes are easy to install and they will add an estimated 11 horsepower at 4400 rpm to your IS350. 2006 to 2010 Lexus IS250 models with 2.5 liter engines get a power boost of an estimated 6.6 horsepower at 5900 rpm with AEM air intake part 41-1406C (gunmetal gray finish) or part 41-1406P (chrome-like finish).
AEM achieves these significant horsepower and torque gains by supplying the engine with cooler outside air and by designing the air intake system to restrict air less than the OEM intake. AEM also uses its revolutionary and fully integrated ETI module to adjust the vehicle’s MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor electronically. The ETI module optimizes the MAF as it sees denser power gaining air being fed into the engine.
These large increases in performance are coupled with exceptional engine protection. An AEM Dryflow air filter is included with these air intakes. It allows air to flow with less restriction than a typical paper air filter while it provides outstanding filtration.
AEM Dryflow air filters are easy to clean and reuse. These performance air filter elements can perform for up to 100,000 miles, depending on driving conditions. When servicing is needed, AEM’s synthetic cleaner (part 1-1000) is used to quickly dissolve dirt then a rinse with water washes the dirt away. Once dry it is ready to use again.
AEM’s Lexus IS350 air intakes 41-1402C and 41-1402P, along with AEM’s Lexus IS250 air intakes 41-1406C and 41-1406P come with a heat shield to block hot engine air. The intakes also come with a fitting on the tube for connecting your existing PCV hose.

Legendary for its super sports-carlike handling and responsiveness, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X has the capability to carve through the tightest S-turns at speeds leaving some of its more expensive Italian competitors far behind. Backed with Mitsubishi’s Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system which integrates the Active Center Differential (ACD), Active Yaw Control (AYC), Active Stability Control (ASC), and Sports ABS components, the all-wheel drive Lancer Evolution is in-short, capable of carrying a much faster pace through corners than many other vehicles on the road or track. To maintain those furious speeds through turns, a superior suspension and a serious strut bar is needed.
Worrying about a vehicle’s chassis remaining stiff at the limit is a thought in most serious driver’s minds as they test their abilities with their car. When a car is pushed hard into a turn, if unsupported, the tops of the towers can move as much as 1/8″ affecting the camber setting in an unpredictable way, which in turn makes the handling of the car somewhat unpredictable. AEM has engineered a stronger bolt-on strut bar to stabilize the tops of the struts and tie the suspension together to eliminate movement of the strut towers.
The AEM strut bar, part 29-0000, is made of a large diameter, thin walled steel tube to help maximize the strength to weight ratio. In the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, the 29-0000 strut bar is easy to install because it simply bolts to existing mounts on the firewall and the tops of the strut towers to provide excellent rigidity. AEM performance strut bars are a true racing option and a more professional alternative to many hinged or weaker strut bars on the market.
One unrealized benefit with the addition of a correctly made strut tower bar is that Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) can be reduced as well. With a vehicle like the Lancer Evo pinning you back in your seat while your tires stick like glue through a turn, a driver will appreciate the benefit of installing the AEM strut tower bar.

APR’s RSC™ Technology is now available for the MK6 GLI in our newest RSC™ or Reflective Sound Cancellation allows for maximum exhaust gas flow while completely eliminating unwanted in cabin sound resonance known as “drone.” RSC™ incorporates innovative technologies developed in conjunction with NASA. With limited use of packing materials and no baffles, RSC™ allows for a completely straight and free flowing exhaust path throughout the RSC™ mufflers. Reflective Cancellation bounces the undesirable sound waves into each other to attenuate the wave and completely eliminate the low frequency tones that create drone. Each RSC™ muffler is tuned to eliminate specific, undesirable sound frequencies allowing only the engine’s true and desirable exhaust note to be heard and improving performance.
APR’s design specifications and manufacturing requirements result in a 3″ mandrel bend stainless steel performance exhaust system with minimal bends unmatched by any other. RSC™ technology ensures the maximum possible performance increases from any performance exhaust system while maintaining refined and unobtrusive sound inside the cabin.
