Can we add our own products?

Yes, you can add them yourself, or ask that RPMWare do it for you. Either way your products will be seamlessly integrated with the other parts on your website. If you would like to “Mass Import” a group of products please contact us.

What if I sell a complete product line that you don’t have on RPMWare?

Chances are we’re already working on it, or it’s in the queue.  Let us know what specific lines you need.  If you are direct or have contacts at that particular manufacturer even better, give us that info and we should have the line up within a few weeks.

How do I choose what lines appear on RPMWare?

To choose which lines appear on RPMWare, log into your Admin area and choose ‘Item – Pricing’ from the top menu.  From there a list of available Brands will appear with ‘Active’ check boxes next to each name.  Check (or uncheck) to choose which lines appear on RPMWare.

How do I set pricing for the lines I want in RPMWare?

To set pricing, log into the Admin area and choose ‘Item – Pricing’ from the top menu.  For lines that you have active, choose the price which you want to take the Discount From (MSRP, Jobber or MAP) then select a Discount Type, then set your Discount Amount.

There are Three Discount Types

• Percentage Discount: Choose a percent in which to mark down the selected price (20% off MSRP, 5% off Jobber, etc). Discount Amount should be in a % format.<.li>
• Fixed Discount: Set a fixed dollar discount off the selected price ($20 off MSRP, $10 off Jobber). Discount should be in $xx.xx format.
• Fixed Price: Set a Fixed Price for the item (regardless of MSRP, Jobber, MAP).  Discount should be in $xx.xx format.

How do I discount brands with different discount levels?

With RPMWare you can discount on Multiple Levels.

• At the Brand Level - 5% off ACT
• At the Group Level - 10% off ACT Flywheels
• At the Part # Level - 15% off ACT Part # 600120

It should be mentioned, even though the example of a Percentage Discounts, you can discount/set pricing with any Discount Type (Percentage Discount, Fixed Discount, Fixed Price).

Additionally, any discounts at a lower levels (Group or Part #) will override the higher level discounts (Brand or Group).

Can I setup multiple discount levels for preferred (WD) customers?

Yes, through the RPMWare ‘Items – Pricing’ menu in the Admin area, you may setup discounts for multiple ‘Customer Levels’.  This is a great way to invite back repeat customers, extend discounts to specific groups of customers, or integrate RPMWare into a wholesale program.

How do I know what my cost on the Items in RPMWare is?

For every line in RPMWare, we load Manufacturer’s MSRP, Jobber and MAP Pricing (if available).  Your discount when buying from a WD should be off one of those numbers.  You will have to request discount sheets (a.k.a. Linecards) from your WD’s in order to calculate your discounts and determine your cost.
